myYearbook.com - "Owned!", "Battles," and Even "Causes". :)

I've been a big fan of myYearbook for one reason. They are one of a plethora of social networks on the web. The have all the basic and tons of unexpected features. But, what really make myYearbook stand out for me? They have heart. They have "Causes."

You see, by spending your time on the site you earn something called "Lunchmoney." Also known as "LM." You get bundles of it by playing games (the games are rad), completing offers and such. With this LM you can send gifts to your friends or strangers you're wishing to befriend. I hardly ever do that, though.

It's not that I'm unfriendly - I just love-love-love giving all the LM I earn to my favorite causes. The causes include everything from stuffing for teddy bears being made for kids in need of the security the bears bring or minutes of scientific research to cure cancer or blankets for the homeless.

Most recently, myYearbook.com has added "Haiti Relief Fund" to send disaster relief to the desperately in need nation.

The site is filled with adds and that's how they keep the giving train rolling. For instance, at any random time, the site will have a deal with an advertiser (most recently is the latest of the "Bring it On" movies). The deal on the deal is that they'll dump a toy car load of LM on you if you view a commercial. It's that simple. Well, sometimes, more complex, but that's for more LM. The games are a great way to earn LM, find one you enjoy and/or rock at, and stink to it until you're bored with it.

If you're someone with the time and desire to give but little dough to do so, bunny hop your way over to myYearbook.com and do something that'll make a lot of people feel really, really good. Including you.
